Some companies use wear and tear (voluntary layoffs) to reduce their workforce. Under such a plan, no worker is obliged to leave his or her job. However, people who leave voluntarily are not replaced. In addition, employees have the option to withdraw for a fixed amount of money, often a few years of their salary. Such plans were made by the U.S. federal government under President Bill Clinton in the 1990s and by the Ford Motor Company in 2005. Exercise caution when discussing dismissal with your employer. This also includes everything your employer writes about redundancy in the documents you sign before you leave a position. These documents can have a significant impact on your future, so it requires your thorough review before signing. If it was important enough for your employer to write, it is important enough that you check carefully. Always ask questions and seek outside opinions if you don`t fully understand what was drawn in agreement before signing.
This new procedure for workers wishing to leave the country is aimed at all companies, regardless of their staff, and is implemented by a collective agreement under administrative control. Legal compensation related to the termination of an employment contract (i.e. severance pay and severance pay) does not in principle apply to valid termination contracts. Nevertheless, the parties can agree on another plan for the payment of such compensation. In addition, when considering the “reasonable benefit” criteria, the Supreme Court ensures that additional compensation and payments are made as a factor affecting the validity of a reciprocal termination agreement. A redundancy contract is an agreement between the employee and the employer to terminate an existing employment contract without notice – when the agreement must be reciprocal. A termination contract is an official document that is used to officially document that all parties in a contract have agreed to terminate. Unlike the structure of a good work reference, an end-of-work contract must follow government laws and regulations to be effective.
